Advancing Justice-Atlanta began to disseminate the Atlanta 3/16 Survivors Fund

It has been more than 150 days since the tragic shootings on March 16th in Atlanta. We have been focusing on healing our communities and working closely with victims’ families and survivors to build comfort and support. 

With such an outpouring of financial support from the community, individuals, and organizations, we were able to create the Atlanta 3/16 Survivors Fund for those directly impacted. Through our work with the steering committee and community partners, we completed the application process. After the Survivors Fund Task Force’s independent review, we began disseminating payments to the victim's families and survivors. 

To all of the individual, organizational, and anonymous donors small and big, we truly thank you for your support for our community. We are continuing to work with the victims’ families and survivors and will provide updates as the Atlanta 3/16 Survivor funds get disseminated.
