Juliana Guerrero

Immigration Paralegal

Juliana Guerrero is a Paralegal for the Legal Services Team. She first came to the United States in 2004, but returned to her home country of Colombia to pursue her political science and law studies at Universidad de Los Andes. Juliana has a certificate from the Program of Advanced Studies on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from American University and a certificate in International Criminal Law from Leiden University. She is passionate about human rights, refugee law, and gender justice. Previously, she has represented asylum seekers before Colombian Courts, worked with international NGOs on accountability projects for humanitarian actors in crises contexts and volunteered at the US southern border by providing trauma-enforced care and humanitarian aid to migrants and asylum seekers. 

In her free time Juliana enjoys traveling, going to concerts, and dancing.
