Atlanta, GAThe administration’s plan to indefinitely restrict work permits for asylum seekers is a direct attack on the dignity and economic stability of American communities. By stripping away the right to work, this policy forces immigrant families into poverty and increases the risk of exploitation.

Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta stands firm. Denying a livelihood causes systemic harm that weakens our entire community. We must fight back against policies that prioritize exclusion over the basic humanity of those seeking safety.
